Hello! I am an independent game developer living in California. I've dabbled in every aspect of development, but my specialties are physics simulation and computer graphics. I love creating dynamic procedural worlds with highly interactive physics and complex emergent behavior.
I have been making games since I was 12, initially in GameMaker, but I quickly moved on to C++. For me, the math behind the simulation and rendering are the essence and soul of a game, so I love hand crafting these details, rather than letting a premade engine do that work for me. The quirks and bugs of the implementation are as much a part of a game as the intentional design.
I have B.A. in Physics from UC Berkeley and a M.A. in Physics from Princeton.
My favorite games include Noita, Opus Magnum, Rain World, and Path of Exile. Aside from games I am interested in robotics.
